General Information

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Backend Intern to join our team. If you’re eager to learn, grow, and build real-world applications using modern technologies - this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

Support the team in building and improving software solutions based on assigned projects and platforms
Learn, follow and implement Birbank development standards and engineering practices
Apply coding guidelines and produce production-ready code with guidance from a Tech Lead or mentor
Write and execute tests to ensure code quality according to team standards
Contribute to a collaborative development environment delivering end-to-end product features within Birbank's ecosystem

Requirements

This internship requires full-time availability.
Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Knowledge of Java programming
Familiarity with Spring Framework (Spring Boot) basics
Understanding of Git version control (GitHub/GitLab)
Basic knowledge of SQL
Ability to read technical documentation in English
Additional Advantage (Not required but nice to have) Understanding of: Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture
Responsible and disciplined
Strong analytical thinking
Fast learner and eager to improve skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Problem-solving mindset
